Guns don’t kill, criminals do. Gun control does not control crime, only human conscience does.

• Every state already has outlawed convicted felons owning a gun.  WITH gun laws, it is far too easy for criminals to get guns because you are not enforcing existing gun laws against criminals possessing guns.

• The problem with this law is that it is by and large not enforced or enhanced with another type of action or investigation to ensure that it is enforced.

• The fact is that you can buy guns underground, on location and even online.  Laws prohibiting guns sales do little to prohibit criminals from getting guns.

400 DEAD; Obama’s response says EVERYTHING

The Chicago homicide numbers for July are in, 65 individuals were shot and killed in the heavily gun-controlled city — marking the “deadliest July in 10 years.” This brings the total for year to nearly 400 — the first seven months so far — compared to a total of 490 for last year in its entirety.

These shootings come in spite of the city’s “assault weapons” ban, “violence tax,” strict rules on acquiring handguns, and micro-management of the number of gun stores in the city, as well as of the locations of those stores.
